Who is Tzvi Gluckin?

Rabbi Tzvi Gluckin is an experienced speaker, author, musician, and Jewish educator. He is the author of four great books including: Knee Deep in the Funk: Understanding the Connection Between Spirituality and Music, Everything You Want Is Really Jewish, and Discover This (you can buy them here). His articles and essays are featured in the book Heaven on Earth (published by Targum Press), on the awarding winning website aish.com, and in the Jerusalem Post online edition.  He is a blogger for the Times of Israel. And he recently released (MiMi), an amazing album of original music.

Tzvi runs JU Max, a cutting edge and totally interactive Online Maimonides program (learn more here) and a totally online Hebrew School in conjunction with the Afikim Foundation (learn more here). He is a regular contributor to the innovative webinar site, Project Sinai, and his live classes are often presented in conjunction with the OU and NCSY. He also lectured at Tufts University for a full semester as a visiting professor. He is a sought after lecturer on campuses and communities throughout North America, and his videos, articles, and over 50 MP3 recordings of his talks can be found on the web at aish.com and his own site, moretorah.com.

From 2001 - 2009, Tzvi directed Aish Campus in Boston and recruited college students to travel and study in Israel, South America, and Europe.  Over 700 students participated on these programs.  He is currently the director of Vechulai, an innovative Jewish think tank in Boston.

His eclectic tastes and unusual life experiences render him uniquely qualified to discuss a wide array of issues and topics from a fresh and different perspective. Tzvi Gluckin lectures extensively to English speaking audiences internationally on a wide range of topics. He has served in the Israeli Army, holds a B.M. in Jazz Studies from the New England Conservatory of Music, and received his rabbinical ordination from Rabbi Noah Weinberg ztz'l at Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem.
